About zero EXP for quitting..

So. If I quit when I just get downed, I shouldn't get any EXP. I don't get any EXP (Tested it) and that's great, that's how it should be. The same is said for if I quit while my respawn timer is still ticking (Tested that too) I don't get any EXP and again, this is great it's how it should be. HOWEVER, a big fat HOWEVER...if I quit when my respawn times out, I don't see why my EXP is then taken away, that in my opinion is NOT how it should be, why?

Because I'm NO use to my team, I can't be respawned and so on and so forth. I'm supposed to just watch the entirity of the game for as long as those left standing on my team survive just so I can get exp? I understand if I'm just downed, I can get revived and still be of use to my team so quitting = bad = no exp = good design choice.

I understand if I quit while me respawn timer is still ticking because I can be respawned so quitting = bad = no exp = good design choice.

I just don't understand why I don't get any exp for quitting when I am absoloutely no use to my team anymore because I CAN NOT be respawned. I don't want to sit and watch, I want to play so if I can't be respawned why should I stay?

    I've actually wondered this myself. 

    I think that you MAY get XP, but you're not seeing it in your post game because your team is still going. Once your team completes your XP is based on them.... maybe? I don't know...

    There is so much in this game that is just left a mystery, that it's pretty frustrating at times.

    Yeah I noticed. It's pretty odd actually, the game gives you so much feedback and information but it still feels like things are happening that are never really explained. Not sure about getting EXP and not seeing it in the post game. Every time my respawn timer gives out I quit because there's no point in being around, I'm no use to my team and I used to see time survived exp, damage done exp but now I don't see it so it seems like they took it away which for people quitting while just downed or before the respawn timer expires yeah, that should happen but after the respawn timer ends it's just wierd.
