@NandoRos2077You are aware that the significant majority of players are not deaf, therefore an option to switch to something like you mentioned would be available to all and that would be a bad addition to the game. An indicator for the direction of the footsteps is simply a "radar" for everyone.
I don't know how to sugar coat this but fps games likes there are simply sound based and if you are deaf, sorry but tough luck.
She did say that all sounds would be muted if the hearing impaired mode was on which would not give the everyone else a leg up. I feel that is an amazing step in the right direction of inclusion. In today's society we are looking to include anyone and everyone we can when possible. That whole "tough luck" mentality needs to be left back in the 1900s where it belongs. We have the ability to help include and modify almost anything when necessary so why not do that to help include the hearing impaired? Scared they will beat you?
