Adding damage falloff to all of the weapons

Currently, there are only 2 weapons (beam type) receive a damage falloff, and the others will only loss its headshot damage.
Adding the damage falloff system helps reduce the chance of people who spam shots in a long distance with some weapons that aren't designed for fighting at that distance. (Especially for some specific pistols and some SMGs)

  • @Xx__Miku831__xX Well, that would limit higher skilled players.
It seems like the devs don’t want to do this either, the only reason they added it to beam weapons is because beam weapons are hitscan and therefore much easier to hit.
  • So the devs are putting a damage fall off to long range weapons? As the only two beam based weapons are the Havoc's single bolt with selectfire and the Charge rifle. Havoc damage fall off is debatable as mentioned its only after 70 meters but C.R. getting damage fall off? Its suppose to be a sniper, from a design stand point that doesn't make much sense even if it is a hit scan.

99 is practically a hitscan at cqc anyways so where is the damage fall off to that?

  • @Sir_Named But basically most of the same type games also have its damage falloff system, and high skilled player can still do better than others even with the system.

Seems that the dev really don't want to do this as again, I am not the first one who request for the damage falloff system and I am quite sure that you have read this kind of posts so many times. I really wonder if the dev had reply those people reasons that not adding the system to the game.
