@IceCr34mEmperorI know exactly what you're talking about. Sometimes I have to rip my aim off of the target so that I can re align it.
Its really frustrating because you have to "wait for the game" with its slowdown on the target tracking box for the crosshair to align on it.
So youre kind of playing "against" the game as well cause of the increased time it takes to align on target.
Looking at how M&K players align on target is instant in comparison.
Why they put controller and m&k players in the same lobby is like putting cross country skiers with downhill skiers 3 2 1 go! Ridiculous. And this is supposed to be a "competetive shooter".
Tracking is horrible because if you track off of the "tracking box" your normal sensitivity is activated and my crosshair goes way off to the side of the target. Its just an awful experience. I dont feel in control of my aim. I feel like they have increased the slowdown zone around the target this split as well. Or it may be some sort of initial thing they do to calibrate my aim. Sometimes my aim feels stuck in a zone around the target. I use Advanced Look Controls as well to refine deadzone and curve.
I don't like using M&K either because its so many buttons to keep track of and feels clunky movement-wise especially on Valk.
I agree with you, its frustrating.
I feel like since the launch of season 12, so many little things have changed, including movement. The fluid movement just doesn't seem the same. Ive been playing the game since day one. Dead slides all the time now, worse since patch 1.91, bullet slow seems increased and aim assist is slower like you said and feels more sluggish. Not the fluid apex movement that made the game famous that I fell in love with. Since all the original devs left this game has gone down hill for me.
Not even sure if any of the new devs even play this game at all. Sure feels like they don't have a clue.
