We complain about Aim assist being in our lobbies because we value individual skill.
I don't care what controller players do in console only lobbies.
If you gave pc players an option to opt out of crossplay 99.9% would opt to play in pc only lobbies.
But on a different note totally agree xim and strike packs can go to the trash bin

I do, one of my ranked trio plays on controller.
His aim is terrible compared to mine. I just assumed it is because he doesn't use a special controller or strike packs.
- 5 years ago@Irres169 Then I understand your frustrations. Well for the most part, having consoles infested with unmonitored cheaters (strike packs and xim users) going into PC lobby's is garbage. Getting aim assist in itself isn't the worst, but put that with a strike pack or a xim and I can agree with your point of view.

Besides aim assist, consoles apperently run at a lower frame rate, which also means with the servers low tick rate, its a recipe for getting hit behind cover because console players would shoot, the server catches up, and then just deletes other players because of the delay.
Been times where that feels to be true, as I shot a console user first, broke armor, and almost knocked, and then in a split second I get knocked to their R-99 or Spitfire because they apparently were shooting the whole time or something.
Real fun. I suppose aim assist itself isn't my issue, it's simply those who slap on anti-recoil and other cheats to abuse the aim assist. I even see bullets curve around corners. The bullet trail itself also curves and to the player on the other side, it looks like it went through the wall.
Back before crossplay was added, PC lobbies were just fine in terms of finding matches. Now it's just every other 3rd teammate is on a controller and typically when I get a console teammate they're not using anything but the aim assist and how I can tell is that the way they move and aim looks like they should of been left on console servers.
I often see teams consisting of 1 PC and 2 console users as well. The PC user is usually aimbotting and boosting the console users, but if they get knocked the console players turn into a bunch of Sheilas and mows down the lobby. It's most often seen in ranked though.
