Alter’s Q physics

To whom it may concern, 

Alter’s Q on a ceiling creates a phase line down to the ground. The Q does not generate a phase line from walls or anything else. Why?

A wall phase line could create a more competitive skirmisher legend that continues to support the team with a Void Nexus but could get the team into a battle from a stealthy distance.
