Alternator with Damage Hop-Up

Played for a while in Season 2 aswell and I agree with this statement. 3 hits to break a shield with a common smg?
Seems a little bit crazy for me

I dont think nerfing alternator, RE45, p2020 and mozambique is necessary, they are situational weapons and allow for wide range of playstyles in team... Even today in ranked where every second player has 20kill and 4k damage badge we were scarred of these weapons but we played around it and never gotten to situations where we got melted in seconds or vice versa. Although the games were extremely hard it felt really balanced and we also had fun communicating about which enemy has broken shield for the hammerhead weapons and which got re-shielded for the impact hopup

Well R99 and R301 are my favorite weapons in the past but now these are popcorn guns because of the R45 and alternator with Disruptor Hop-Up.

Hammerpoint Hop-up for p2020/moza is a good thing but the other Hop-Up for Alternator/R45 is just..... to much 🥳

I also thing this game have now to many Gold Weapons and way to many Air Drops but this is my own opinion.

We will see in future, it feels like many is unbalanced in the current state

Nerfe that gun now, its completely UN -balanced and has ruined the style and enjoyment of APEX disaster

In Season 1 the Alternator was one of those weapons passed up on for others so the hop ups gave them some more appeal, so early game they are extremely viable options now. 

Do you all see the Alternator at the tail end of games? 

@EA_BlueberryAlternator or RE45 is all anyone wants to use at the minute, because if you come up against someone who has it and you don't - you're finished.

It's a shame because before this I thought the weapon balance was pretty spot on.  All they need to do is tweak the things to be more difficult to master instead of just spewing crazy damage from spraying.  Tweak the base damage down and then make it so that you really need to run the two types of hopup in tandem, or make use of them situationally.  At the minute: you don't need to even switch from your alt/RE to finish after breaking someones armor in a few shots.

Last game I played before logging off we were in the swamps on rooftops and I shut a guy with a kraber down at the other end of swamps with an alternator and 2x hcog.  It's too much atm.

I wouldn't want to see them nerfed, absolutely no one has said on the forums that I've read that they reject the new hopups wholesale.  I think they just need to be adjusted.

Agree. I really enjoyed the feeling looting for a full-fledged R301 or R99 and used them to fight. But, honestly, the new hop-ups are too op, and I don't think an alternator with disruptor rounds should be way much more than R301 or R99.

Agreed, It's so strange that the Wingman even became pretty useless compared to a ?Alternator?. A gun that never has been that usefull up until now. I approve the buff, but making a common gun OP, shifts the game too much (in a wrong way). 3 bullets to shred a purple/gold body with a SMG is never justifiable in my opinion.
