Add an extra hitbox over the hitbox that is constantly pulsing or swaying outward. Aimbots will lock onto it and miss the user. People who don't have aimbot will aim perfectly fine and hit their intended target.Perhaps even have some sort of alternating code so that the target lock alternates between the two hitboxes so even if they lock onto the back one they'll still miss occasionally because it's alternating. Likewise, only the hitbox on the user takes hits, whereas the decoy hitbox doesn't. Decoy hitbox invisible and has no effect on legitimate gameplay, just causes aimbotters some grief.

I would love to be able to opt out of cross play but unlike the Console players that can do this we PC players cannot turn that off. Input based lobbies is what we should have and both console and PC players should be able to opt out of cross-play.

@reconzero PC-Players had an opt-out option during the cross-play betaphase in Season 6, got removed with S7 start.If i remember it right, the crossplay tickbox was reused for the fill-team option above the "READY" button on PC.

@reconzero Well we all learn new things every day. At least you know now, however turning off Cross-play on console will per se solve having to deal with PC players in general as well as the types of cheaters that come with that at times. the problem, at least in the past, from what I heard, is that turning off cross-play on console messes up you mm to the extent that you cannot find lobbies to play because no one ever really turns that off. Plus it still does not stop the controller player’s that use shady roller attachments to get unfair advantages.

If a player has a win rate over 20%, automatic hand audit including scrutiny of other stats and at least one guaranteed match being observed. If a player has a k/d over, say, 2.0 then same. If a player has any weapon with accuracy above ALGS averages then same. If a player has accuracy numbers that are consistently above average ACROSS ALL WEAPONS USED then same. Oh, and either ban all PC players or at least exclude them from console lobbies.

@Zulkiers it seems you know very little about modern cheats ...
"sophisticated" bots grab the memory contents directly and dont care whats shown on the screen. those will always know where the actual hitbox is.

@r1ggedgame Plus, most hackers are running a purchased hack, they don't necessarily know how to run it. Hacks tend to be automated codes. The hack itself won't be able to discern decoy hitbox from real hitbox, especially when they are constant trading code.

@Zulkiers Sophisticated Game Cheats nowadays are subscription based, the actual user get autoupdates anytime something changes, why would anyone pay for something that wont work after a couple of days ?
When cheat developers have access to the memory content ... they will def. detect that the Game uses a honeypot hitbox.
The game itself has to check that you hit a target, so they will just hook into that hitdetection routine via reverse engineering, dissect it and realize a honeypot being used.
You might fool a script kiddie with your attempt, but not a serious coder who is part of the multi million (if not billion) dollar cheat industry.
