@Zulkiers dont you think a good programmer would instantly recognize such bs when he has access to the memory content ?
@r1ggedgame Plus, most hackers are running a purchased hack, they don't necessarily know how to run it. Hacks tend to be automated codes. The hack itself won't be able to discern decoy hitbox from real hitbox, especially when they are constant trading code.

When cheat developers have access to the memory content ... they will def. detect that the Game uses a honeypot hitbox.
The game itself has to check that you hit a target, so they will just hook into that hitdetection routine via reverse engineering, dissect it and realize a honeypot being used.
You might fool a script kiddie with your attempt, but not a serious coder who is part of the multi million (if not billion) dollar cheat industry.- @r1ggedgame

They can't make IP/MAC bans to prevent people from receiving updates from verified cheat makers?

Still. Preventing the receiving and sending of data to/from certain sources while the game is active would be a good way to slow the cheat makers reactivity. Cheat makers would have to test the cheats themselves and get banned many times.
I still want them to do sting operations to eliminate cheat makers from the board, put them all in prison. That kind of (cheat making) operation IS a crime. It has prison time.@ZulkiersIPs can be faked over VPNs, MAC Addresses can be easily spoofed. Also there would be a huge outcry if the Anticheat would monitor the whole network-traffic on a client machine, that is illegal in quite some countries and i dont think most gamers would like that in general. The delivery is often done via a discord command and control traffic broker and not over a dedicated server, pretty much like viruses distribute their payload to prevent those kinds of blocks.
As i said before, its a multi million dollar business, the people involved are very smart in what they are doing, crypto being used as a paymethod to hide the money trail.
