There is no reason for ranked to have a poi system when there is no money on the line for gaming. As well as the horrible run to the ring for position it's taking away the freedom of choosing where you want to be. You might as well pick my character too if you are forcing people to land in a 500meter radius. It's killing the ranked experience.
That's exactly what I was thinking: What's next? They choose my legend for me? They choose my weapons for me? In some ways they're already doing a pretty convincing job of both given the unplayability of so many of the legends and the horrific loot distribution in this game. Every single new seasons rolls out and within two or three matches I'm left shaking my head. "Well, it can't get any worse than this," I always say. And then somehow it does. It always gets worse. Every. Single. Season. Like clockwork.
Get rid of poi
Don't force people to go to a location with inadequate loot and make them run to the other side of the map for rotation. Let alone you show exactly the area your team spawns as well as other teams. I didn't know I was playing algs an winning money that's right I am not. Give the players back the freedom.
I thought this was going to be a nice update. It sounds good on paper. People still drop right on top of you and it is just an entire match of third partying or getting third partied. You have to have a Recon legend in your squad or you are screwed.
they dont understand people want consistency in ranked.
I know alot of players who prefer to land in the same POI and get better at that POI's start to get consistantly good early.
