Anybody notice AI bot players on PC?

  • I play on PS and have multiple friends who join me on PC. When I play with my step-daughter , in particular, we get a bot player as a teammate about every 3rd game or so. These bots have similar names like Wg52zo95erv7gj3 as an example, (I literally just random typed letters and numbers that's not an actual account name). These bots will deploy but just float. When they land they will slightly move around, usually till they hit a barrier and occasionally use their ability. Now if you go punch the bot, it will move, then use it's ability and even their ULT, then stop again . I've reported multiple accounts, but wonder how many in the community are noticing them as some are as high as level 25. The majority I've seen are Lifeline, Bangalore and Bloodhound.

  • @snowsweeperI've seen a few bots that are absolutely brain dead ones. Lifelines in stock skins that run a few meters in one direction, do a little dance, pop their drone, get stuck on a curb, and then run a little bit more until they hit a wall.

Haven't seen murder bots tuned to 11 though. Even if I had, I wouldn't have been able to tell the difference between them and either the Preds/Masters or cheaters/smurfs that I run into constantly.

@HappyHourSumwur yup those the ones. I have also seen Bangalore a lot and sometimes Bloodhound. Punch them a bunch and they drop their ULT. Notice their name? usually random letters and numbers. These particular bots seem newer.

@snowsweeper Yeah, their names are just random combinations of numbers & letters, not the Streamer tag format of "Bangalore1234".
