Level 211 and 731 do take quite a few hours of game to acheive, especially at 700. So that is really odd, you'd get Bots showing up at these levels. I've seen Bots in the game, but all of them were only around level 10-20.
I'm not sure if the game is still seeing big bot waves, but when they started out, again, all of the bots I'd see were only at these levels, so this is odd.

@AnyBrains Its possible that its just players who haven't played in a while, maybe a family member or friend who's on those player's accounts. Its also possible that it is an actual bot with fake stats to make it appear as a real player. I've seen several players who played like bots and were between level 100-500 so it could be any of those things.
If it is an actual bot, it shouldn't show higher level badges, while also being locked to orientation matches only. I should also keep in mind that players can level up by surviving as well, which if it is a real player, all they're doing is just looting then dying. It makes less sense then S18 ALGs level of difficulty matchmaking that we currently got.
Another thing to also note is that some cheaters try not to get caught. So, its also possible that they were cheaters who were playing dumb to throw off the "anti-cheat", (if you can call EAC that anyways), and/or to throw off any players who had suspected them.
At this point, who knows.
The line between human and bot is very thin in this game. Sometimes players thought I was a bot, like before we got the ability to mute our teammates completely, I would see "are you some kind of bot?" in the chat because I would do things that either they didn't agree with or it didn't make sense to them, (like falling back or pushing an advantage).
I can also admit that I've had off days where I'd tell myself to pick up the slack while feeling bad to have to get carried by the randoms. Other days, its the randoms who get carried. Its normal to have good and bad days. The problem with Apex is that even on good days, we'd run into someone who's cheating or simply just way out of our league. While on bad days, instead of the MMR putting us in matches that it thinks we can handle, it keeps us in the tougher lobbies until it feels like giving us a win.
A lot of us are casual players, so I don't expect majority of the playerbase to be good at the game either. I just wish to see some sort of effort from players. Sometimes I'd get randoms who would apologize for being bad, but they would also try to work as a team and do their best. That's all I could ask for from randoms. Instead I just get randoms who might as well be disconnected since there's no effort being put in from them at all, which may explain why I'd sometimes get no teammates in ranked. (That part is a joke, but who knows).
The "hidden MMR" was suppose to group players more fairly, but we've all seen that it didn't work. That's partly due to players smurfing on new accounts where the system has to keep recalibrating. Yet, with the game feeling like it uses an EOMM system rather than SBMM or anything else, I'm not entirely sure. I'm just at the point where its a bot if it just runs and loots while barely shooting. So, basically if it acts like a firing range dummy, its a bot.- 2 years ago
I hear ya, many of the mechanics of this game are in a sad state, and needs some serious overhauling, if this game is in it for the long haul.
