@ThisIsYourMomentMost games have 'weak' guns that only offer usability early game, when half the lobby landed on a bin with a Purple Stock and 2 stacks of Shotgun shells you'd rather have a P2020 than try your luck with meele. Just take pistols on MW for instance.
@AngstyCoder An afterthought here but another thing to note about where “weak” guns may exist in other games, apex has the functionality of balancing the strength of guns based on attachments, and as such every gun should reasonably be just as viable as another, even if only situationally for some, like snipers being for long range and shotguns being for short. Having those attachments determines the strength of the gun, hence why you can’t one-clip a red shield with an R99 unless you at least have a lvl. 1 mag
