Apex Legends - EA wants monthly subscription. This or Netflix?

Finally, EA listened to us, players, and wants to add subscription* in Apex Legends 🥳 . What do you think?

ultra plan - no sbmm and all below

highest plan -better servers and all below

medium plan - no cheaters and all below

light plan - 4K

    I don't see subscription as a good option for APEX at all.
    It would only lead to an even more drastic decrease in the number of players and a further collapse of matchmaking, which is already in a state of disarray.

    If they knew how to get rid of the cheaters then they'd have done it already for free.

    They can afford better servers without a sub. Anyone who would pay for it is just enabling the live-service model for everything. Want to buy a gallon of milk? Sorry, you have to subscribe to your milk now.

    So pay more to get even less protection from the streamers and pros and cheaters? Who would pay for that except a streamer or a pro or a cheater?

    Highest plan – 5 bots running together with your team?

    @AreYouShivering I don't think it will have anything to do with your proposal ahah.
    I think playing will stay free but there could be things offered in a monthly plan like packs, cosmetics, materials, etc like Gta 5 does.
    I would be interested if they did Tournaments for the paying members with cash prizes, Offthegrid does something similar right now they give 1000$ daily to the number 1 in placement and kill points and give another 2000$ to the next 9 players.

    It would be better to have tournaments with people that are really about your skill level, like we always wanted.

    It puzzles me to this day why anyone would pay money for a f2p game but they do. So maybe this would be a thing for people. Not for me, but I'm an outlier in a lot of things.

    The basic imbalance of this idea would lead me to believe it's a non-starter. And yet people queue up into ranked where it now shows you the rank distribution of the lobby. And the two silver players, in a lobby with two predator stacks and even more masters and diamonds, will stay out the match. So maybe "basic imbalance" doesn't outrage people the way it outrages me. You could be onto something....

    @AreYouShivering From what I'm aware of, this is more or less a rumor and honestly if Apex goes in this direction, it wouldn't be good for the game.

    I suggest that EA/Respawn resolve the core issues first before trying to add a subscription like Fortnite and its Crew Pass.

    i wont pay anything as long as im force to play in aim assisted lobbies.
    They cut off linux players , but they dont follow through with the same logic ... the biggest cheat vector are controller emulators/patched controllers like xim, strikepacks ect those devices got sold in the millions.
    Inputbased lobbies would get rid of those things at least for the MnK players, easy fix no anti cheat update needed !
    Also if they cannot detect anti recoil scripts , just turn that stuff off ... it just hurts the honest player ...

    @AreYouShivering I don't see EA/Respawn being able to convince this player base that their subscription fees are going to be turned into anything valuable. The skepticism and distrust is just too high, and I think it is warranted. I wouldn't believe any promises they make about a subscription plan.

    OK, I have new, best subscription plan

    Predator plan / $12 monthly - you deal more damage with every weapon and you have more HP. But with limitations - you have no deathbox skin... because you are auto -respawned even when you play solo..

    Come on, it's worth $12!

    Okay, that one's kinda funny. I've been saying for years that if they'd put an aimbot in the store then I'd start shoveling money in there trying to get it. A guy can dream.
