Apex Legends - Possible Solutions [TO DEV TEAM]

I've played Apex Legends for along time and I'd like to share with you possible solutions, if you don't mind:

1) Let's talk about the maps:

- King's Canyon is the apple of this game's eye. It seems like ever since you guys discovered this, you've been despising it. Honestly, we don't understand why. The best version of this map, the most competitive, was the one that had a dinosaur skeleton in the middle of a canyon, with an office structure next to it. That Caustic factory is also a plus.

- Why the maps are so dark today (pink/purple)? The maps had a beautiful blue sky.

What suppose to do in this case is: ask the community what is the better version, what the most like of each map, etc.

2) Ranked System:

I was playing today and, it was disgusting see that you decided to give pratically no ranked points to maintain people playing. Don't you realize that you're only achieving the opposite? Instead of containing players, you're driving them out by changing what attracts players to this game.

We know you did this to keep us playing, that's why we tend to do the opposite, because we think you think we're so dumb that we don't notice that's what you're doing. It's part of our human nature to confront those who underestimate us.

My suggestion is:

- Why not back the ranked system that used to work?

- If players are complaining about playing against Preds and Diamonds, give them more points if they kill or help kill higher rated players.

3) Queues

- There needs to be a way to separate experienced players from those who aren't. It's really bad to have to play with gold, platinum, or even diamond who doesn't even know how to communicate/ping.

- It would be great to separate solo players from duos, or at least give the solo players the chance to accept or not to play with duo/premade. P.S.: I don't care if in the other side is a solo, duo/premade or even  pro players team. I just wanna have a chance to not play with poor duos that like to screw over the third player (solo).

Well, these are the suggestions of a Mr Nobody. Try to just focus on them, and watch things happen (KISS).

The choice is yours.

Good bye !!!

    1. Not a believer in "asking the community" much of anything, but certainly not about maps. I've played games that gave lobbies a vote for map choice. What a train wreck. You end up playing the same map over and over and over again. Tedious.

    2. I'm a first week player, but I've only been playing ranked this season so I can't say if going back to a previous system would be an improvement. Except that I CAN say because nothing could be worse than the current system. I could write a book on everything that's wrong with it. It isn't designed to give you an objective summary of your abilities, or practical goals to work toward. It's designed to discourage you from doing anything at all until you hit platinum, and by the time you do then you've forgotten how to play because you haven't been playing because you don't have to play to rank up until you're out of gold. What kind of system allows you to move up the left side of the bell curve without firing a single bullet???? Oh, but wait! Then you get split and have to start all over again. Because they don't care whether you're good or bad (witness all the high-tier players moving EASILY through bronze and silver lobbies at the expense of every casual player in the game), they only care that you keep playing. In order, I suppose, to give all those diamond three stacks something to shoot at. And that's just the tip of the iceberg. I could go on all day. So, yeah. Please change it. To ANYTHING other than what it is right now.

    3. It's a nice idea, but there are already enough constraints on the matchmaker to prevent it from ever putting together an actual balanced match. Giving it even more criteria to take into account would only make this game even closer to true random matchmaking and we're too close to that as it is, imo.

    1) I don't know about all maps being darker, but I do know they attempted nightmode maps, and boy did they fail. Sure, some people complained it was too dark, but obviously they don't live in the woods like I do where there is no light. The maps they used were effectively woods maps with the amount of space between buildings. The natural lighting should have been way darker to be more realistic.

    2) Extra points for eliminating a higher rank player would be nice. Maybe reduced point loss for being killed by them?

    3) Solo can que separately from other duos by hitting the "no fill" button. Solo queing entirely. Don't know if that can be done in ranked though. Some special modes don't let you soloque, like Revival.
