Apex Legends Devs removing Kings Canyon

Hi im just wondering, it says that “Kings Canyon” will be removed from the game because of the new map “Worlds Edge”. Apparently this is because the developers of Apex Legends say that if people want to play Worlds Edge and they get Kings Canyon then people will leave the game like they did when they couldn’t get Octane when he was a new character. I think Kings Canyon shouldn’t be removed as most players have now gotten used to the original map and its hard to change and find out all the secret places and cool drops on a new map. I think they should keep both maps and let players choose which map they want to play in, instead of making it random.

    @gravelvisa rainbow six siege is doing it in a good way i think. they let many maps in the pool and the first week with a new map you can join a special queue for only that new map. after 1 or 2 weeks you can it should be random. i think that would be a good way

    Thanks for your feedback! Excited for World's Edge and it's always tough to say goodbye to something you've been so accustomed to for a while. This was mentioned in the patch notes though so there's always a chance for it to return. 👍

    WHERE IS KINGS CANYON?

    For the start of Season 3 World’s Edge will be the only playable map across both regular and ranked matches. As the season progresses we’ll be looking at data, sentiment, and feedback to help us determine the best way to bring Kings Canyon back into the mix.

    @EA_Blueberry Okey but pls bring kings canyon back soon, now with the new map i realize how much i love kings canyon
