Agree on most points. And I would basically suggest the same things. The traps should be able to be placed on walls and ceilings. There should be some sort of poison effect after entering the cloud but not sure how much. A dot damage that deals 10 in total? that would mean that caustics minimum damage would be 10 when an enemie enters triggers it. Should however not stack. Teammates having vision through his smoke sounds kinda op because when caustic has his vision he is in such an advantage. Nobody can see you well and he can see everyone outlined in green I mean it is pretty strong once you get your opponents in the traps atleast. His ult is already pretty ok for what it is so thats fine if they dont touch it. I don't think they should be smaller tho, I hide them around rocks and corners whenever I dont place them inside and it works quite well. They also work as a sort of intimidation technique because of their size. They let enemies know not to go somewhere if they're place out in the open and this can lead to you gaining some safe distance from your enemies. All in all he isn't trash but def not as versatile as the other heroes. Not given the versatility issue a thought yet but for now a dot dmg and sticky traps sound like a good start. Perhaps a way of linking several traps together for a chain explosion? Maybe the traps could deal an initial explosive hit to players really close to the traps? Whatever they do I hope they do something! As for the arrows pointing toward activated traps suggestion, at the moment you can simply look at your traps through a wall and see where they've been activated and if someone is in your gass you see how much dmg they are taking! 🙂
