I think that they could have that each level, you should also get maybe 100 to 200 crafting metals based on your level. Like from level 1 - 10, 100 crafting metals. From level 11 - 80, 150 crafting metals. And from level 81 to 500, 200 crafting metals. Also, maybe have heirlooms able to be instantly bought with Apex Coins. That/s all.
Actually how about each level, 200 crafting metals and also, add more skins, not from battle passes, from the crafting metals. Also, the battle pass accessible by crafting metals, but with reduced XP boosts and less skins, like 5 less skins from the Apex Coins' version of the battle pass.

The game after that someone has taken it and not paying attention your auto granted a legend. Well by default it will go back to that legend you played before.
This sometimes can be confused as when they are given a auto choice of their legend its because they was clearing red dots.
