Guess Respawn thinks otherwise, because they want to give you a fair chance of winning (NOT).
The matchmaking has to deal those winnable matches to EA Creators first, so people watching streams dont get the wrong impression.
They wont do seperate solo-q lobbies nor inputbased ones , the reasong is always the same : "Oh it would hurt the Queue-times"
Guess what a gazillion different game modes does ... so that excuse istn a valid one ... they just dont want to !
If a Respawn Blogpost reads like its written by/for a politician you know you likely get fooled.
It has a reason why 4 mio Rank Players quit the game since S19 - SamaroCZ7 months agoSeasoned Newcomer
Matchmaking is terrible. Master tier players in gold lobbies is fair game.

Very strange. My matchmaking changed on day one of this season. Last season, and all prior seasons, it was pretty much all over the place. When they added in the pre-lobby skill distribution curve it became obvious that it wasn't all in my head. Then this season started and suddenly I get about 8-9 matches out of ten with matchmaking so tight I almost can't believe it. To be honest, the distribution curve is tight. In-game behavior still has a range to it because there are a lot of players using secondaries to get away from hard lobbies. But still nothing like as bad as it always used to be.
So I feel bad for people who are not getting the benefit of the improvements, but for once I'm not hating on the matchmaking. There are plenty of other things to hate on, mind you. But SBMM is no longer one of them. At least for me.
