Are they removing double tap trigger for season 4?

Guys anybody know if respawn is actually removing from the game the double tap trigger hop up? it seems like it requires no skill and in the meantime is too strong, on g7 scout is pure can**r to play against, but i just cruised up into a building to a guy reviving his teammates and i got literally oneshotted from 100 to 0 from a eva 8 with double tap, looked at the death recap and it did 175 damage with one shot.. like what the * ahaha apex is better than the other games because there is no ONE SHOT (unless is a kraber headshot).
