The arenas update is good. The problem was that people were buying devotions every round and was very annoying. Now arenas are more balanced than before and I hope they bring ranked arenas back.
But this could just as easily happen in duos, trios or any other mode except Arena—so why the restrictions in Arena? I use Arena to practice specific weapons since I can choose them right from the start. I don´t like it, give everyone the freedom to choose whichever weapon they want, and use it as often as they like. I'm 100% certain the player count in Arena mode has gone down since the update.
