Hey guys, I am hoping this is a pretty simple addition to make, could we get options for either choosing our audio playback device manually in the settings or could Apex Legends default to the communication device rather than the main system sound?
It would save a whole lot of manually switching system level sound settings for those of us with both headphones for surround sound when playing FPS games and speakers for comfort the rest of the time.
Using my laptop to stream on TV and play video games, well cant play APEX because sound goes to TV as well. Hope its not so hard to add this feature to the game.
If this is on PC, just open control panel and set whatever you want Apex to use as the default output.
There is a program called Voicemeter Potato it is free. It actually lets you pick app by app outputs. You might need to look at a youtube video to understand how to set it up optimally.
But what I had said above is setting your windows device to default in the window settings. There is a default for audio and one for comms, Apex will use the defaults so you should still be able to do this.
