Automatic Hemlok

How about making Hemlok with select fire perk or make it fully automatic? In my opinion its going to be the next gem! slightly less fire rate then the prouler so it wount be O.P and its perfect!

Let me know what you think

My instinct is that it would need a damage-per shot nerf if fully auto, as the single-fire Hemlok is already very powerful.

  • @EA_David
    Reduce the Magazine Capacity.
Thats what Warzone did for the Scar and the Oden.

Base magazine Capacity 18, Max 24.

    or base 16, 22 Max.

Keep the damage high at 22.

A high damage low magazine capacity full-auto weapon is needed.

That what I like about Warzone, it has a lot of weapon variety.

  • @aSphur Hemlok is fine as it is. Making it automatic is a nerf. So... NO.

I personally been using it since Season 4 and that is the season I started loving it. The burst fire is good for close/medium range while Single Fire Mode is good for long range and farming damage at 100+ meters range as long as you have a 3x on it.

I use the Burst Mode more than the Single Fire Mode because it faster time to kill. Single Fire Mode is a slower time to kill but others have their preference. it makes the weapon versatile.

Well I have been using it since season 0.
And I can tell you the original Hemlock was superior to the new high damage, heavy recoil hemlock.

The original Hemlock had tight groupings with a high firerate.

I stoped using the Hemlock after season 3.

    The new Hemlock is ?
The vanilla was better for medium and long range and could easily suppress an entire squad.

I have footage of me wiping an entire squad with the vanilla Hemlock.

  • @EA_David I personally think this gun should just be left alone. It never got any love for like the first 4 seasons. I ALWAYS used this gun because I can shoot very fast with single fire. That is a skill set the player has, stop making guns so newb friendly... Make them hard to use so the player actually can master them

@SolitaryMassacre Exactly, the Hemlok is a skilled based weapon to use.

I actually stopped using it with a Shotgun. From my experience, I lost close range combat more often and a shotgun didn't save me that much. Hemlok is very good as a Primary but having a fast fire rate weapon like R99/R301/LStar gets the best out of the loadout.

A shotgun is very skilled based though if using a Hemlok. Nokopuffs does it all the time with an EVA-8 and Hemlok as a loadout.

It also skilled based when to use which mode.

@Leo_the_Lion25 Thanks Leo. I really think the guns are becoming too newb friendly. There isn't much skill with each gun like there should be. Anyone can pick up a gun and point and shoot. I will say the changes are helping that.
