Backpacks are far too uncommon.

I noticed the same thing.

Maybe it is intentional?

Helmets are my struggle right now. ☹️

Seems like there are more level 2 backpacks floating around now compared to Season 1. Level 1 backpacks seem abundant everywhere....do you drop in the same zones?

Nope, I drop quite randomly, I usually pass jumpmaster to a random team mate so I can split off and land at my own building, so it's pretty random.

Although in ranked I tend to drop roughly in a central location of the map, which would he the cage, the houses on the east side of bunker, etc.

It could easily just be plain bad luck, but I got the impression drop rates for normal backpacks may have changed.
