Bad new player experience
This game is the opposite of fun as a new player. Land, get shot in 2 seconds, die, leave lobby, repeat. When you do actually manage to get a gun, it's probably one of the crappy ones that takes over...

It happens to all! Hang on keep fighting!
I hope skill-based-matchmaking is in this games future...
..but even if we get it.. it doesn't totally solve the problem in a free-to-play game, because skilled players just "reroll" a new character to get into the trash skill queue so they can have more fun killing people. It's the nature of PvP games unfortunately.
I recommend you join an apex discord and get into premades with players who know what they are doing... drop less hot... learn... and climb the ranks like all of us are doing. Here are my three favorite APEX discords...
