Be Honest

If I’m brutally honest with myself, I only enjoy about 1 game every 8 - 10 games. That’s a pretty crappy efficiency.

Lagging servers, ghost bullets, sound issues, being shot behind cover,... It's all annoying but I can still somewhat tolerate this because it happens to everyone. What I can’t deal with is getting destroyed over and over again by top tier players (or cheaters). The huge skill gap which exists in almost every lobby is my biggest problem with apex legends. Having 6 zero kill games in a row and still getting 13000 kill players with some elite badges makes no sense whatsoever. So tell me, am I a masochist or just stupid? Why am I still playing? It’s probably the same answer for a lot of people: battle royale games are addictive.

A part of me still hopes the sbmm (or eomm) will get better in the future, but to quote Albert Einstein: “the definition of insanity is doing the same thing over and over and expecting different results”.
