OG Mode was fun. Will also solve the OP new character issues.
Likewise Ranked should have option to be OG or ban characters by player voting at start of game. With 2 characters bans, game will be more balanced removing the OP outliers.

I actually really like this idea. So I'll take it a little further.
Week one: OG game.
Week two: OG season one game.
Week three: OG season two game.
etc. etc. etc.
As each new season comes up it gets whatever maps, legends, weapons, or other features that were added at that time.
Personally I'd be living for season 3 (and the original charge rifle) and season 14 (for the best version of Kings Canyon).
