[bug] Occasionally Loot pickups reverting shortly after collection

Yes and yes.  This also happens when landing on the train and trying to pick up purple armor.  I made a post similar to this yesterday but it seems they have deleted it, as I cannot seem to find it anymore.  

It's infuriating especially when you open a crate to pick up a gun while someone's chasing you, only to realize the gun you just picked up is still in the crate.  This happens to me almost every other game and ive lost many ranked matches due to this bug.
