Can we get better FREE events!?
Honestly I'm kinda disappointed with respawn and EA with the amount of events that we have to pay for and that * is so annoying can we get one free event or an event where we can use legend tokens!? ...

@DreNH17 Apex Legends is a free to play game and it needs to earn money. The events aren't targeted at people with hundreds of dollars to spend, the heirlooms are. The events are designed so you can spend 10-20 dollars on a skin you really want, not designed for you to get an heirloom.
@CompleatBeet Actually, the past events have had heirlooms in them and you had to spend over $100 just to buy 24 packs and then the heirloom.
@DreNH17 Yes, but heirlooms are very valuable cosmetics and like I said, Collection Events are designed for you to spend 10-50 dollars to purchase a cosmetic(s) you really want. The heirloom set at the end of the event is tailored for players who wish to spend 100 dollars on it and get all the event exclusive cosmetics.
If the cosmetics were free, EA, Respawn and the game would suffer quite a bit financially. However I do agree partially in the fact that heirlooms should be more obtainable by significantly increasing the number of packs you get for free thus limiting the amount of packs you buy, so heirlooms are a fair combination of play and purchase to obtain.
@CompleatBeetStill the amount of money you need to spend to get a heirloom is disgusting. its only a ingame cosmetic that most people dont see or dont care about.
ofcourse a game has to make money. a dev team are not robots and need to get paid for there work. but if you do the math it would make alot more money if they lowered the prices to non-disguting amounts.
so that would mean they rather have only a FEW people spending insane amounts of money on this game to get a heirloom then lowering the prices and have lots and lots of people have an heirloom. which would make lots and lots of money
so the heirloom is only for those that can burn money. or have nothing else to spend it on?Lower the prices Respawn/EA im not saying heirloom's for everyone 5 bucks a go...... but 500 packs is sick. im lvl 500 and own all battlepasses, no heirloom.
and what about that shadow event bundle? 60 euro/dollar for 2 bloodhound 2 crpyto and a weapon skin. 60 euro/dollar? The person who decided this price can go fk himself.
( and for all you people who spend lots of money on apex and telling yourself your supporting the dev team, your not. your only making sure some big shots at EA get to fuel there ferrari's )

I understand the frustration and I agree - the heirloom cosmetics are quite the challenge to get your hands on, but the main reason heirlooms are so stupidly rare is so that when you finally unbox those sweeeeeeeeet 150 shards, it feels magical and you have bragging rights. I'm just hoping I get lucky and don't have to buy the rest of my way to them 😬
- @DreNH17 Are you really stating that event modes are not free?? Everything to do with content it self is completely 100% free. If you find cosmetics to be the "event" then you are very mistaken. Those are a bonus for people who actually want to have it. I had paid 1500 for my 3 heirlooms 500 bucks a pop and you complain about 160 bucks for a heirloom? You dont know the half of it to be honest. I would of loved to drop 160 on one verse all the money I have to get just 1 specific one. Cause you know yall now get the chance to pick your own heirloom and those of us who put in thousands did not get that option.
Count your self very lucky.- @E9ine_AC First of all, that's not what I was stating so read a bit more carefully, second of all the events itself are free but not the rewards. And I literally stated "at least ONE free event" I didn't say make all the events free and Idky you brought up how much money you spent for 3 heirlooms and heirlooms in general when I'm talking about events itself not the heirlooms.
- @DreNH17 I actually brought that up because most of people who buy all the event deals are after the actual heirloom. I dont think anyone in their right mind would actually want to buy weapon skins or re-color skins. It is purely marketing to push all the products to buy a heirloom cheaper then you may have to invest.
