Well, this turned out to be way more controversial than I thought. Originally when I made this post I was just speaking my mind at the time, and I thought that everyone was on the same page, but I was genuinely surprised to see how split the opinions were. Do I still stand by my opinion that Caustic needs a buff/rework? Yes, but both sides of this topic have made really good points and @Peri_Longbow_plz even made me rethink about some of the points that I made as well.

This is probably (hopefully) going to be my last (official) response talking about the whole situation. I'm probably gonna go back to making buff ideas for random characters lol. Anyways, have a good rest of your day and goodbye.

    @MildSmile1 I agree with a rework. There is a tourney twitch vid right now on how pros are laughing at caustic now as the can just tank the gas and not come out of a building. His gas needs more impact in CC or a debuff that negatives health healing while in it and a bit after being affected by the gas. His ult needs a larger area of denial for an ultimate.
    The issue comes down to assault rush mains hate caustic and want him to be bottom tier again.

    @MildSmile1 I don't think it's controversial no one has said he shouldn't get a buff reduced size like Peri said I think would go a long way or trying to buff him or his gas in a different way. I just want to point out Caustic is not useless I can still dominate final circle using him, but I do feel everything before that has been weakened. His gas isn't as big a deterant, but is still really good for blocking doors. However I really liked the versatility of Caustic being able to push or playing passively with teams I got. Nerfing his ultimate and gas damage really hurt that tho and he is pretty much just a camper now, which is probably how it should be but I definitely think defensive legends need buffs I'm tired of having a set position with defensive legends and it feeling like I didn't do anything wrong but they roll through us like nothing.
