Caustic gas needs to do more damage compared to most other legends caustics abilities are just to hold people back and annoy them its damage is too low and makes him semi useless because of it. in battle if there is caustic gas either people will ignore it and go around or will run through it because it does almost no damage.
IMO the issue isn't linked to the low damage the gas does (although it would help, especially when you compare it to the damage some of the other Legends' abilities can do...).
The issue lies in the [Throw gas-trap] animation, which is way too slow in a gunfight.
It needs to be faster to allow dropping of gas before switching to a weapon, to add that tactical depth in an engagement.
Cuz right now if you prioritise gas above shooting, it's a guaranteed death.

Caustic is the worst legend, by far, as his abilities has the least utility since they basically only work okay in really close quarters.
Here is how to fix him:
-Increase gas cloud size
-Decrease gas trap animation time
-Make him see through gas by making the gas a bit transparent only for Caustics
-Don't let other players shoot and disable the traps without triggering the gas
-Make him a mutant who heals or gets a speed and\or jump boost by breathing gas (by entering gas clouds)
He can already "somewhat" see through the gas with his passive, although its not super great. I can understand why they made the mines disarm-able, however I would suggest making the base of the mine have 100 hp rather than 1 hp, that way if you want/need to kill the mine you have to invest a few seconds and some bullets to do so.
