Caustic future buff suggestions.!!

I think the Defensive class as a whole needs fixes all around. Caustic was nerfed into oblivion because people don't want to play through counters even though they're easy to do. Wattson is fine situationally but as a whole her kit is snooze worthy and tedious. Gibraltar is the best defensive legend and honestly he needs to be toned back some.

Caustic gas should have side effects that are noticeable. I've had multiple times where people just walk through my gas with perfect aim somehow killing me. It should be a slow and near sighted when inside. If it does do that it needs fixing because I shouldn't be beamed when someone is green in my gas and I'm strafing and moving around. The gas damage should be changed to 5-10 damage. That way it has increasing effects and isn't as high damage as it was before at 6-12. The traps shouldn't be able to be shot out of air. It's the stupidest thing ever to throw a trap and have it immediately destroyed. You cant shoot Gibs shield projector to take it down. You can't shoot his shield because of the insane health pool it has. You can't shoot lifelines heal drone, you can shoot cryptos drone by holy * is it small and fast so the chances of that are slime to non. Caustic has too much counter play to be so weak. Also the ult cooldown isn't that insane of a thing as long as they bring back the gas damage.

Gibraltar needs things taken out of his kit. He's like the lifeline rework now when they reworked her to compete with him. 4.5 second revive in a dome that can't be destroyed is ridiculous. Lifeline doesn't even have a fast revive capability and that's her schtick to be the field medic. So all around remove stuff from his kit so he has counter play. 

As far as Wattson is she atleast zones people. You see a Wattson fence you don't run through it because you know that's death because it slows movement does damage and reduce turn speed. So already way better than caustic gas. It takes time to set up yes so a buff could be faster deploy for fences and maybe fix the stupid hitbox for interactions. Looking down at that small base to connect to recall or do anything with them is aids. I'd say for her its faster fence deploy and just fix the interface and her fences are golden. Her ult is hands down the best in the game for defense. It eliminates any grenade projectile ult that drops. It just zaps it out. Maybe increase the health pool so it's a bit beefier to destroy rather than one clip but that's about it. She can use an accelerant to get it immediately and the utility is good on it. Also for the shield passive give her the game mode shield recharge. Out of combat, shields replenish for her. But slow it down a tad. That gives her a defensive beef to be a front line like a defense legend should be. She takes damage backs off and recharges shields and heals and she'll get recharge from her ult.

One last thing that's an issue is (or well 2) is A] Everyone uses rush legends now rather than legends like Crypto or Rev. It's always Bloodhound, Octane, giga sweat Wraith, Horizon, Bangalore and those players never play defensively. (and also disconnect faster than you can say What are you doing?) B] The fact that things like wraith passive and bloodhound scan show your traps and set up. Like a Bloodhound can just scan the whole area because that's not OP and totally not annoying to see every 20 seconds (faster if there's 2 or more squads around you) and he can be like nope not even going to go there I'll just avoid it all together and wraith can just be like oh traps? Okay I'll avoid the area. There's too much counter play to Caustic and Wattson but people have the I wanna rush and do it now no counter play to do mentality and then go and whine that they died because they rushed like an idiot into a caustic set up in a room.

Rather than be smart and play with a brain they just want to bum rush into things and not play the game correctly. It's called strategy. And ofcourse Respawn will cater to these players because they sell skins like there's no tomorrow. Like I'm pretty sure Wraith has gotten a skin every season and every event in some rarity but yet people hate those players with a passion because they're all the same degenerates playing her. The body pillow hugging losers who thing they're flashy and oh so good at the game.

So anyways Buff Caustic and make him a threat again rather than a joke and give Wattson some love with quality of life changes.
