Incase you don't know this , but Traps just trigger right now if Grenade/stars hit it as it is now.
If anything also Thermite Grenade should be able to use the fumes into a "firey deathball" cause how REAL Toxic Gases react with Fire which if you combo it yourself, much like how we can trigger traps ourself, it could make them more deadly.
Traps should be indestructible/trigger if shot if anything, not just deflates with no gas. Cause if you shot a Gas fill trap in real life, it wouldn't just be normal after shooting it and walking away.
2nd the helmets should have something with Chemical war so helmets/gas mask are built in them to help vent, making a gold helmet WHICH IS rare to ever see, make the low tick damage as it is now.
Traps Damage should be like the outer Ring Damage, with a random huge spike in damage.
Having a higher helmet does help you last in outer rings longer, so They could just code the Gas much like the outer ring damage easily.
The Traps should just be dangerous playing and simple. You would avoid these type of traps if in the lore, are as deadly say they say they are.
Why I think the Traps should with with the Thermite Grenade this is quote from the lore.
"Humbert Labs soon discovered his gruesome experiments, and their confrontation ended with the lab in flames and its chief dead."
Note:
Decrease the size of traps by 50%.
Make then sticky traps.
You should increase the activeation area with more 10%, i still have issues in TOWN areas in Buldings.
DONT CHANGE THE DMG OF THE GAS.
Problem solved.... in easy way....
(Maybe give him 2nd ultimate, chargeable like traps, not sure about this....)
So he could throw 2 gas grenade....
Easy...
