Caustic Season 7 Changes are bad.

I truly believe whoever came up with this ridiculous "solution" to the gas problem, is someone who doesn't play the game.

There's literally no other possible reason.

Even the most clueless players in the game IMMEDIATELY realize that caustic is not only a very difficult legend to master, but one that has serious drawbacks to make up for its advantages.

So, DanielZKlein, what about you PLAY the game before pulling such a ridiculous nerf to an already gimped legend?

Regardless, I believe there's a good solution to the issue: since the "damage buff" is obviously mentally challenged, make it so that traps can't be oneshotted at the base, and that they share the player's revive kit hitpoints, so that they can be used as 'cover', so they don't disappear once the gas effect is gone.

This way, since traps are ridiculously useless without the blur, absolutely stupid and negligible in 90% of game situations (open space), and clearly worthless as damage dealing devices, they at least would allow some tactical positioning to open skirmish scenarios.

Now its gonna be a nightmare to play him, because now he's got nothing to offer. A HUGE hitbox, 0 mobility, open area maps with buildings that have 4 or 5 different doors. No way to play aggressively, no way to play diffensively. He is a troll legend now. Wanna lose or ruin a game real quick? Pick Caustic.

He needed a buff really, not the other way around. Instead they just killed the legend that ALREADY had the worst kills per match rate out of all legends, combined with an average to low pick rate.

BTW devs if u read this, could u please be so kind to make every legend in the game say "My vision is clear" when they enter the gas? Thanks.

I absolutely agree with you, mate. Honestly, I was really disappointed when the devs nerfed his tactical to where you could shoot the gas traps mid set up. Up until that point, I used to play Caustic a crap ton. But, I started play him a lot less after that. Then, I see what they did to him this season and it just hurts, man.

Honestly, my two favorite legends in this game are Rev and Caustic. It took them forever to get Rev in a good spot and now it seems that every season they want to beat Caustic with the nerf stick. I would love to see these two both be in good spots at the same time... But I guess that's never happening.

Well, here's hoping for some Caustic buffs/reverts either midway this season or next. But I wouldn't hold my breath for them (no pun intended).

It's a shame, man. It really is.
