cheaters all around every day, every day the same names, reports are useless ...

really * me up , this game has a massive !!! massive cheater problem !!! i play in gold and it feels in every second game a cheater kill me !!! sometimes i spec players and you can see it clear !!!...

@Bladerunner78mh Unless there's video proof, there would be no way to tell if the person is cheating or not. Maybe they just really are good at the game. I've had players spectate me because I've steamrolled through the entire lobby. Even wiped 4 squads in 1min 42s with constant combat.

I do want to mention that you did say the player was at "Close combat" which would suggest that shots wouldn't be that hard to miss. What is your movement like? Are you moving around enough and compensating your aim in regards to it?

Every game has cheaters, but it's how we handle it that helps grow the game. Sometimes they are cheating, but other times players are just really good. How many kills did this player have compared to you? Was he a pred?

    @MoNosDirtyGaming I think he meant he gets wiped out with close combat weapons (probably referring to wingman and r99, in my interpretation). He isn't wrong though, I've seen constantly the same aimbotter over several games and even days, I did that because I like sometimes that when I die, I will spectate simply for the taste of seeing how the game will finish, where the circle is going to end and how other players play, simply for this not to see if that enemy who killed me has hacks or not, but sometimes I see aimbotters wether they killed me or they killed my killer, or the killer's killer, etc. If you try to spectate many games you will eventually bump into aimbotters. Yes there are good people playing this game, skilled, etc but the amount of how many aimbotters I personally see is disgusting to be honest. I did once the mistake of keep spectating the same aimbotter to just complain to me and my premades on "look at him how disgusting" and etc, and he won the game, and the mistake was that we obviously started a new game straight after and got into the game with the same cheater (he was the champion and started killing everyone in the lobby again) only that his team was wiped out by another team who had a cheater themselves, I must admit was sort of funny and satisfying to watch him die but at the same time was disgusting realising the enemy was cheating too, and I mean proper aimbotter, when he aims down sights and clicks the aim jumps onto the enemies head and stays there for as long as he clicks. This post seems an overreaction but it's not.

      @Astropithecus_93 Of course mate, I despise cheaters, they're the lowest of the low, but sometimes you die because they're simply better. There's a lot of factors which come into play when deciding if someone is cheating or not, you know?

      I think PC has the main issues for cheating and on console we rarely see players who have aim bots, but rather players using mouse & keyboard on console and other players who have a turbo button on their console; making it impossible to shoot faster than them.

        @MoNosDirtyGaming I agree with what you say. I for one can't wait for crossplay to go live (if I will still be playing by then) because that will increase the amount of console players therefore reduce the possibilities to encounter hackers in my games. It's just a shame that Respawn doesn't address this at all ,or even to try scare the cheaters by making some bald statements like "if you cheat you will get a ban on IP" or something like this even if they won't do it but just to scare some kids off or to address this matter officially like other games do (which you always see a hugh reduction in number of cheaters).

    i mean close combat weapons ok , with snipers its a other thing , i mean full automatic weapons.

    sry but i play shooter since i can walk and im 42 years old.

    i know what is a cheat and sure i know a few players are really really good.

    but sry if a player shoot and the bullets follow throw the walls without any line of sight.

    im not stupid dude , 50 % headshots with a r99 on 200 meters in full automatic is not real, and special in gold the players not sooo good like an aceu or some other pro players.

    you can see if a guy is cheating for real if you have enough expirience , and i have a lot.

    in my young age i play pro series , worldcups and a lot of competitive you know.

    sure not everyone is a cheater with a heavy aiming , i know....

    but i know in this game really much cheaters on the line.

    in the last weeks really many times and many times the same players punsh me in the face with his * aimbots !!!!!!

    watch a game and look , you can see if anyone use wallhacks and shoot in walls or the crosshair jump from  target to target instant without stop shooting from a target in front and behind 100 meters behind walls !!!

    open your eyes !!!!!!!!

      There is NOTHING done about! NOTHING!
      and if some one say "maybe is better" "get lucky" its 99% its WRONG.
      I stop playing because i was tired of Cheaters and SBMM.
      There was 1 on 5 game where i get "normal team" a mean no "noobs" to care, where at last one left after knocked. where i head 2k demage and they 100 the most. i was tired i play after work to relax not to sweat alone to care 2 noobs..

      and almost every game i head some cheater.. its ridicules.
      And im sure i can see difference between good player and imbecile cheater.

      EA and Reapawn avoiding that topic and DONT care

        @o8_Dnap_8o its been 4 day now every match i killed by or being paired to cheater (singapore server all 3 of them), and its not just this game, BF 1 had the same cheater issue too, thats why im not buying the new one or star wars battlefront, because at the end i know im just wasting my money cause EA/origin never gonna take this issue seriously, they already drown with fifa money, it such a shame really, if respawn not address this issue, like start ip baning , using denuvo (which i dont mind really) i dont think the next season gonna be good sell, regular player already gone (ppl in my friend list is long gave up on this game) and im gonna stop too, and ive played this game since season 1 and paid for it

    Lets be honest here, Yes, sometimes players are better than others and thats why you die, but Apex has a HUGE CHEATER PROBLEM especially on Console. You can tell when you get outplayed or maybe “out shot” and you die; or you die because you made a bad decision or move or your accuracy was trash, but you know when you die to a cheater. It is completely different.

      Apex is having huge cheating problem. Whoever not admitting this is either living in his own world, or is cheating/macro/scripting too.

      Respawn atm are doing nothing to resolve the problem, not even a statement how they will try to deal with it ?

        I agree that anyone who says there is no cheating problem on Apex is part of the problem or blind or maybe their servers are just so small they don't encounter cheaters. Either way APEX LEGENDS should NOT be Cross Play with PC!!!! Basic Xbox One or PS4 is gonna lose over PC most of the time. PC has better everything and I'm sure everyone could agree with that. NO CROSS PLAY!!
