Controller + Mouse Hybrid setup doesn't work on PC

Question

I'm usually an Xbox player but the other day I was playing on PC. Finding that my keyboard skills are extremely lacking I had the bright idea to use my Xbox elite controller in my left hand while aiming with the mouse. Technically that affords me enough buttons to play, if you include the 2 left hand paddles on the controller.

Playing around in firing range though it was very clear that this doesn't work. Any time I was walking and looking at the same time the camera would get very shaky making it unusable. I assume it's just swapping back and forth between controller and k/b mode really fast. The same thing happens when aiming while holding the crouch button.

I suspect one could use joy2key to get this working better, but as it stands I'm not sure you can disable controllers in the game and you definitely can't use "hold to crouch" in k/b mode which sucks.

I know this probably isn't supported (and maybe considered cheating?) but this would be my ideal way to play the game. It'd be nice if it worked somehow.

If you want some kind of hybrid get a razer Orbweaver Chroma and use the joystick for movemen&nbsp;

@SlimeQ_SlimeDogg You can’t do a hybrid, theres just no way your left hand could possibly do all your controllers buttons XD my dad recommended me trying that so many times and I was like theres no way in hell to do that

I play with xbox one controller on my main pc acc but I made a new account to practice mouse and keyboard

@FaIIenAngeI777 yeah, i had the same problem that you when i switch to pc from xbox(almost a year ago), i had the same idea of using half of my controller for movement because keyboard movement was hard, but i only practiced a lot and now i don't need to get an hybrid, just keep improving yourself... you will see the results, take some time but is worthy.

@audiofilomx Within like 3 hours on mouse and key I had the basics down now Im fine with movement but gotta figure out the aim and recoils and stuff on pc
