One of the things that I’m not liking about this game so far and I’m really enjoying it since I’ve started playing it. And that is the whole crafting materials ordeal, and how often you get the loot boxes. Cuz I mean I’m already level 73 and I hardly ever get loot boxes anymore and that’s the only way to get crafting materials. From the time I’ve started playing apex I haven’t really gotten any crafting materials out of boxes and when I do finally get some it’s only like 15. I mean how are you supposed to buy skins for your character or buy anything else with them if the game doesn’t give you any out of boxes. I mean it would really be nice to be able to buy a purple skin or a purple camo for a gun without having to spend actual money on something. So that is something I definitely feel like they need to change about this game and that is either how or how often you get crafting materials. I mean does anyone else not see where I’m coming from or feel the same way that I do about the whole crafting material deal. Just trying to get it out there cuz I’m sure if enough people feel the same way I do about it and spread the word about it that they’ll change something about it. So spread the word!!!!

I understand that apex packs are meant to be monetized so that the game devs can make money. That's fine, however, there is an issue when players reach their limit for getting cosmetics, many become disinterested in the game. I think it may be a smarter idea (as you can only get 45 Apex Packs from just playing the game) to at least reward players for playing in crafting materials if they play well or one per match or something. If they can at least grind cosmetics it then people will be more inclined to keep going. It doesn't have to be a lot.

They need to give us crafting materials as rewards for completing matches depending on our performance, and if they're afraid dedicated players will farm everything then simply adjust the costs of the items a little to compensate

Could always give us a way to remove things we don't want from our items and get at least half the crafting materials in return that way. Either let it cost Apex coins or legend tokens to do so. Though maybe give full material for actual coins and half if we use tokens?

Having been level 100 for months now, I completely lost interest in the game besides playing with a friend when he is available.There is no reason to login and play.... to win? So what? With a good 3rd random we with 50% of every time we play. I don't care about winning as much, I want something to work towards. Badges? I got most of them all by now, maxed out too, save a few extremely difficult ones (ie. 20 kills in a match).I literally have no reason to play except to have a good time with a friend once in a while.Don't even get me started on how much Season 1 is a failure.

Something that might help players stay engaged other than new content, is the ability to unlock more of the current content through gameplay.
Everytime you level up you receive legend tokens. As a level 100 I have nearly 20k just sitting there with nothing to use them on. While I can’t get any crafting metals by leveling up to unlock to customizations and cosmetics.
Why not add a bit of crafting metals to each level?

because the tem over at respawn just wants you to spend $20 for the 1... i repeat 1 skin you want. Or you can try your luck with using those 2000 coins in buying apex packs. But im sure youll get nothing but common items with a sprinkle of rare items. Such a waste of money.. youd think the devs would give you a little more bang for your buck so you feel like spending that 20 was worth it. But that never happens.

Yeah,every since I got to level 80 I've been stuck at 220 crafting materials and all your exclusive skins require 1200 legendary skins to use legendary tokens yet I have 66,000+ legendary tokens that are COMPLETELY useless without crafting material. Also,forget about buying your packages because they are completely useless too. 20 bucks just for enough coin to buy one skin and I'm still stuck with 64,000 useless legendary tokens. What you need to do is allow us to trade in legendary coin for crafting materials since that is all you are giving us and no crafting material.

yeah it would be great to actually be able to earn crafting materials from playing a match.
maybe a system like top 10 gets 10 crafting materials top 5 gets 15 top 3 gets 20 and champion squad gets 35 crafting materials.

@xNiigWaardx It would be better if like on launch, you would get apex packs all the way up to level 100, separate from the season pass, and it would reset like this every season. This would 100% fix the issue you are having, or at least give us all a better chance at getting more loot boxes.

The game is free to play. How are they supposed to keep the game running if they give all cosmetics away for free also?
There is no pay to win, just cosmetics you may want, not need. So if you enjoy the game, and are happy the game itself is free, why not donate some loot for visual cosmetics to support it?
I think you cannot get duplicate items either, I have not gotten a single duplicate in any box so far.
