Cross progression/cross save?

Yeah, I made a bunch of progress since day one on PS4 but I would love to play on Pc with my Ps4 buddies. Especially so if it I don't have to unlock everything from scratch/miss out on the limited time rewards. 

Destiny 2 handles this system wonderfully, but i imagine these games are built rather differently.  

It makes most sense for those who may want to add the upcoming Switch version to their libraries.  I mean, I didn't start playing on PS4 until about five months after the game launched.  I missed any cosmetics exclusive to Season 1 and its collection event, but that was on me for not choosing to try the game earlier.  People who start out on the Switch, or who choose to get the Switch version as a portable alternate, presumably won't have any way of getting the cosmetics from the first five (or even six) seasons and any of the mid-season events.  How else can you catch the Switch version up to the others if you don't allow players to connect and sync accounts between platforms?

As for cross-play, I think it's a good idea, but I hope there are options for All Platforms or Console-Only, plus an option to turn it off.  I'm always a bit worried about PC players, with their mouse and keyboard controls, playing against console players who use controllers, in terms of aiming accuracy.  Also, I don't know how the cheating situation is on PC, but that would be a nasty thing to introduce to the console players, too.  I figure it'd be best to allow people to choose if they only want to play against fellow console players, or if they're confident enough to take on all comers.

There has been much talk about Cross Saving/Cross Progression. If it wasn't announced at EA Play along with Cross Play, then I doubt it will be coming anytime soon.

Initially, there was belief that due to the way Apex was initially made, cross progress would never make it into the game.

But Community Managers have been responding with the same sort of vague tone to this as they did when asked about Cross play, meaning it's a possibility.

There is no need to worry! Cross Platform Matchmaking will probably not occur if you're queueing up solo or with friends on the same platform, but obviously you will be forced into Cross Platform Servers if partied up with people on different platforms.

Also the belief that KB+Mouse has an advantage over Controller is majorly exaggerated. The best players on PC, like Knoqd for example use a controller on PC, meaning that it is possible to contend against KB+Mouse with a controller.

Sadly, cross progression is not going to come any time soon and Respawn have announced this. It would take a major update to Source (the game engine) for the team to find a way to add cross progression.

Have they not had the time to do so? Over a year waiting, wasted. all money spent, wasted, hours played.... wasted. All for nothing. Do you not see why I am upset, why we all are? We have literally paid for it at this point. Again they have had plenty of time to make it happen, but all for not.

If anybody is coming from a recent video by WaterGotHim I'd like to make it clear I don't work for Respawn or EA!

Community Managers will have an EA Logo beside their name and Apex Legends developers will have a unique rank too.

Although yes, the way the game engine works really makes it difficult for the developers to go back and add a cross progression. Recently datamined code which seems to have the function of transferring what an account "owns" COULD be a version of cross saving in the works but it is more likely that it is a progress transfer from Origin to Steam or current to next-gen consoles.

Cross Progression needs to be implemented sooner than later!

If EA and APEX want to retain players, they will initiate cross progression across all platforms with the same EA account binding. FORTNITE and other competitor games do not punish their players by making them purchase multiple battle passes and spend currency on the same items, regardless of what platform the battle pass was purchased on.  It is 100% possible to apply these changes.

The way it works right now is, when I claim a reward from Amazon Prime it goes to whatever system I log into first after claiming. So, if I log into PC it will be there and not on my XBOX and so forth....EA clearly recognizes the accounts are linked, but it will not share the skin. 

As a player I am willing to even give APEX and EA a break when it comes to duplicate items. I will not require any additional crafting material or compensation, I just want to share my progression and items across my account.  

If you agree that this is detrimental to the quality of life of the game, please help spread the word.
