Cross Save - Cross Progression without solution

Hi, I played Apex Legends on PlayStation 4 from February 2019 and have over 200 hours invested. Then in 2021 I switched to PC, but since there was no cross-save, I didn't think much of it and continued playing from scratch on Steam because it also shows how much I love the game. So much so that I currently have 173 hours invested on PC. Now that I've started playing again in 2026, I remember that I also have my progress on PS4 and I want to enable cross-save. My PS4 and Steam accounts are linked to my Epic account, all under the same email. I've already sent an email to support and contacted an advisor who basically told me to wait and that it would be resolved eventually. Is there really a solution you can offer? I'd like to have my PS4 progress on my current Steam account.

    Hey Mordecaehm14,

Progress is stored on the EA account level, not on individual platforms like PlayStation, Xbox, Steam, etc. This means if you link your platform to a different EA account, you'll lose access to that progress and it will appear to have reset. Progress cannot be moved between different accounts.

You'd need to make sure the relevant platforms are linked to the same EA account. If you have an Epic account linked as well that's fine, but the only one that really matters in this case is the original EA account that was used when you played on PlayStation and Steam in the past. Any platforms linked to the same EA account will have access to whatever progress was made on that particular EA account, but we aren't able to manually merge or transfer progress outside what you're already seeing when logging in.

You can check this link for more details on how that works: Does Apex Legends™ have Cross Progression?

Hi EA_Mako Thanks for answer. As you can see, I've attached an image of my synced accounts on EA. These are my only accounts; I don't manage two PlayStation accounts or two Steam accounts. These are the only accounts I've had for as long as I can remember. So, the links are there, but in my case, the progress I have on my PS4 isn't transferring to my PC. That's the solution I'm requesting and looking for.

Thanks Mordecaehm14, just to clarify as you've mentioned a couple different things now. Your Epic account is completely unrelated here, right? You've just played on Steam and PlayStation? You had mentioned an Epic account originally, which is why I wanted to be sure you weren't talking about two completely separate accounts.

If these are the only two platforms you play on and they're both linked to the same EA account, cross progression is already active. There's no way to manually activate this. If it's not picking up all your content, can you try logging back in on PlayStation? Is it visible there and not on your Steam account, or not at all?

Typically the only option in these cases is to make sure your account has been re-linked to the correct EA account, specifically if it was ever unlinked or moved to another EA account in the past.
