Let me ask you a question, how often do you see Crypto did that?
@DrSeptimus I never see a Crypto do that because that takes too long and is a waste of time and who really thinks fast enough to do that and when in a fight thats how you get yourself killed.

Back in S3 when there is a lot of people main Crypto because of how strong his EMP back then (Remove 100 shield), literally every single Crypto able to do that or at least trying to. At hot zone with ample of death box or armor, most of them would just swap armor.- @DrSeptimus thats in the past this is now and literally no one does that literally every Crypto never does that.
- @zombieshoota5000 That's because this season change how shield work, player can evolves those shield. Plus, EMP was nerf to 50 instead of the old 100.
A evo lvl 5 that lost 50 shield isn't going to placed the Crypto at disadvantage since it does the same on the opponent. Of course, a crypto can still drop the armour to take full advantage of EMP.
Also, at hot zone with lot's of deathbox or armour, they can just swap armor instead of dropping it. Swap armour is a much more common tactic being used now, since it is safer and less risk. But in the case where there is no armour nearby within the vicinity, crypto can still execute this moves.
Just because you never see Crypto does that doesn't mean it is in the past.
Crypto need buff for sure, but he doesn't need a cheap buff that increased his speed. You basically asking for drone version of Bloodhound. Crypto is a legend with high learning curves, don't expect a random player that doesn't main crypto to use it well. - @DrSeptimus Emping himself even with the enemy leaves no difference with both players having the same difference in health and it’s not going to be every game when your next to a body shield and isn’t cracked too and it is in the past like you said in “season 3” and it is now season 6 so it is in the past.
There is a huge differences when playing in duo/trio because the EMP is no longer affect teammates armor. You basically placed your squad in advantage when you take off 50 shield off against all enemy within the range.- @DrSeptimus thats makes no sense
- @DrSeptimus Well teammates still get slowed by your emp, so the only real advantage is to damage enemy shields by 50 and to remove traps. Also I believe they patched out the whole dropping shields thing to prevent shield damage.
