Dear Devs, I truly hope you read this.

For context: I have been a respawn devotee quite literally from day one. From the instant Titanfall was ANNOUNCED, I have been a die-hard fan. I have hyped this company up like no one I've known. I literally purchased my Xbox One so that I could play both the Alpha and the Beta of Titanfall.. I purchased my PS5 to improve my experience on the game. I am quite possibly the biggest fan of this specific company that you can imagine. It is my benchmark for video games. I have brought dozens of friends into both titanfall and apex legends over the years, and have devoted more hours to Respawn games than I care to count. I **bleep** love this company and this IP. 

But my gentle-people, please take my word for this when I say it: you legitimately have a terminal problem on your hands. 

I have never, in all of my decades gaming, seen a game in the desolated state that Apex is currently in. The console cheating problem is not just an occasional annoyance one encounters at this point. It is EVERY. SINGLE. GAME. Ranked or casual. These horrid people have received a greenlight to destroy what has easily been the best shooting game on the market for almost a half decade. 

As a result, I have effectively quit. Where I was once putting in dedicated hours per week in ranked, the whole process is compromised. Rank means nothing, and I can't even have a good match, because all it takes is the first bullet from a cheater's gun to jog your aim and you cannot catch up in a one-on-one. The whole match can be fine, even doing great, then a team just descends out of nowhere, hits every single shot, and the match is instantly over. 

I will proudly walk away from this game (and I hope most others do) if this is not taken seriously, and soon. Do you want to know why your playerbase is not growing? Well one, it's a difficult game with a high skill floor and ceiling, but two, no one can learn how to play when these cheating losers are trolling pubs lobbies. Nobody wants to learn a game where they are being insta-killed by $250 robo-aim. Nobody can learn a game when they spend the whole match dead... It's honestly really sad to think about new people trying to get in, since I'm an 11 year respawn veteran and even I'm getting destroyed at times. 

I mean it, if you allow these pathetic worms to destroy the sanctity of what is arguably one of the greatest games ever created, simply because you're scared you might alienate the most toxic portion of the community (good **bleep** riddance!), you will end up with a game played only by cheaters. It's almost already the case. Most endgames I spectate have become a cesspool of cheaters fighting cheaters. 

Do the diligence. No warnings, absolutely no mercy, wipe their accounts, make them lose the thousands of dollars they've spent on skins and cosmetics. Make an example of a few and strike fear into the others. This is not a difficult process. I can personally identify Cronus and Titans in mere seconds while spectating, So if you need help, seriously, hire me. I will clean up this issue in a matter of weeks. 

If not, I will soon be a former Respawn devotee. This is outright disgusting. You are actively rewarding people who, in all honestly, should be figuring out how to get their lives in order, not cheating at video games. Do the world a favor, rip the bandaid off, and just stabilize after you cut out the cancer in your "fanbase". Let's be real though, if they were real fans they would play the game as it was designed, not purchase a computer to play for them. They don't care about the game, just money from streaming, trolling, or pathetic dopamine farming. 

I've been playing since day freaking one man... and I might soon play my last Respawn match ever. It totally sucks. 

I truly do love you guys and the work you have done... but please get it together.
