Dear devs, this is how and why I buy skins.

If anyone at EA wants my money, here is my expenditure mindset thought-loop:

There was some talk about apex legends not earning as much as they had hoped. I just want to point out that I didn’t buy a single skin in a long time, and the only reason why, is because the skins on offer aren’t worth the price. They’re not the skins I’m looking for.

Let’s do the maths, it’s about 20 euros for a skin, so it has to be really good, because 20 euros for a skin isn’t exactly cheap. The good skins are for example the prestige skins, but you know, they’re insanely pricey so that’s a no-go.

Then there are other skins that ARE cool, which are mainly the sci-fi trooper skins. Think of skins that resemble robot or futuristic soldier style designs. Others are hazmat suits and other protection gear.

 Here are some examples of skins that I really like and would and have gladly payed 20 euros for:

I could simplify my skin "requirements" as follows:

Does it look sci-fi?

Does it look intimidating?

Does it look like it belongs in the military?

Does it have strong soldier themes?

Does it look armoured?

Does it look weaponized?

Does it look badass?

Some skins I'm still hoping for that get added to the game:

Valkyrie: Astronaut soldier (sci-fi astronaut suit in soldier gear style)

Caustic: Hazmat suit soldier (sci-fi hazmat suit in soldier gear style)

Vantage: Ghillie suit soldier (sci-fi cloak/forest camo in soldier gear style)

Crypto: VR goggles soldier (sci-fi drone operator in soldier gear style)

Alter: Insulated suit void soldier (sci-fi hazmat suit in void soldier gear style)

Oh yes and one last thing, when is Neon Spectre skin coming back into the store? Because the store is huge these days with tons of offers, which is fantastic, but I'm only looking for a few skins, and this is one of them.

I also need to point out that the robot skins for Gibraltar and Newcastle are fantastic, but the legend is aweful to play. So I am once again asking for a fortified buff to 25% resist, because I simply want to play them lol. Is that too much to ask? Besides, big strong characters should kind of be able to tank more shots right? So it does make sense.

    Gibraltar: Arm shield keeps getting onetapped by a single bullet from a CAR, even with a Gun Shield LMG. One would think it would take at least 5.
    Let's give it an upgrade. Make the arm shield immune to damage for 0.2 seconds after taking a hit. This way it will be more visible how many hits of damage it is actually taking.

    NewCastle: Extend the edges of his revive shield to cover most of his sides and the top of his head, and give it a repulsion factor so when enemies try to stand on it and ride it and shoot you in the head, they can't because it will send them away from you and get them off you.

    I still want knockdown shield to grant the downed person better protection. Extend its edges back past their shoulders to grant them a better chance of intercepting strafer's shots. Strafers move faster than people can rotate while downed. This most greatly impacts console users, but I've had it happen to me many times on PC as well.
