Do Quips work in-game?
I’m just curious do quips actually work in game? I don’t think I’ve ever heard a quip in game except during the dropship and while skydiving from the dropship...
If this isn’t already a feature I really want this feature to be implemented into the game other wise the quip wheel is pretty pointless
one thing I always like to do while in crypto’s drone is say ‘’I’ve seen target dummies smarter than you’’ and the enemy team usually starts shooting at my drone so I was wondering if they could actually hear my quip taunting them or if they were just shooting at it so they didn’t get hit by my EMP or keep getting scanned
There are some other legend’s with good taunts to do towards an enemy team, for examples Bangalore can say things like ‘’ You make contact you better finish the job’’ or ‘’Im gonna give you the bottom line up front you lost this one’’ which i understand are meant to be an intro quips but are also good taunts to use in game and Bloodhound can say ‘’come get some’’
Lifeline can say ‘’ you looking at a fighter what am I looking at’’
Pathfinder ‘’watch out I will grapple you literally or you can mess with people through windows and say ‘’ hi friends’’
i could keep the list going but you get the picture... I understand not everyone may not want to hear quips because they might cover up other audio sounds like footsteps but you could add settings to adjust quip volume or just turn it on/off or something
@FaIIenAngeI777You can hear both teammates and enemy quips. With the drone one, I think Crypto actually says it from where he is, and not through the drone itself. Unsure about that, since I can't exactly test it. But I can ask someone if they're willing to double que into a lobby to check, and yes, we will kill each other. I don't like teaming. (I would try firing range, but the voice quips are global for you and your two friends (if you have a team), regardless of the friendly fire setting, besides when you select another legend and they say something like "I'm back!" or "This time will be different", those ones are only for you).
