This was from like 4 month ago, so its without the buff some people are prefering to i think...
Your clip shows me that you have your controller not properly setup ^^
Get the right settings and you willl be surprised
My controller is setup to where I like it and can have really good matches with it. I like how it is setup.
My clip shows that there is no automatic tracking on a moving target. Completely nullifying your argument about controller having perfect aiming. I love how when there is proof against your argument, its not good enough and somehow the error is in something else.

@SolitaryMassacreyour response shows me you didnt check the clip i sent
Im not surprised a controllerplayer cant click on a redditlink ๐
Maybe the browser should implement some kind of assistance too
- 5 years ago@matzesingt Here with the insults lol. Do they make you feel better? I hope so.
I did look at the link, and I will be re-creating what they did with my friend the next time we play. Secondly, that was on PC, not console, so who is to say they don't ACTUALLY have some mod running causing that?
I also don't know how that is supposed to help me.. its barely tracking. You all are acting like its keeping the gun aimed at the enemy all the time. I see your point but it only causes me to have more questions then answers. - 5 years ago
@SolitaryMassacreblows my mind that you call that barely tracking
and this is pre the 20% buff it got lately if im not mistaken
Btw on closer range its more effective someone did send in some interesting clip somehere here in the forums where a wraith got pointblank tracked automaticly by aimassist
- 5 years ago@matzesingt What buff are you speaking of? I see nothing in the patch notes about this..
The reason I call that barely tracking is because when you look at my clip of me shooting the rampart on the turret/drone, my gun moves ZERO pixels when she moved to my right. So, like, what do you want man? - 5 years ago@SolitaryMassacre Doesnt matter what they write in patchnotes... they also didnt write in patchnotes that they take away the option of us beeing able to turn off Crossplay
Told you before, your settings are wrong... - 5 years ago@matzesingt Bruh, if aim assist was as strong as you said, and helped as much as you say, why do settings matter? I wasn't even touching the joystick when she moved. I HAD TO MOVE MY GUN. Period.
And turning off crossplay was probably a beta thing, so things can change without notice in a beta. - 5 years ago@SolitaryMassacre ok you are helpless
- 5 years ago@matzesingt Why because I am not falling over and simply saying you are correct and addressing a different side of your problem? That sounds like you are helpless for not being able to hold a qualitative argument and simply want to whine when things don't go your way

Look what happens when a Predator PC controller player turn off aim assist.
Ok fellas, by reading some of the arguments i will put some facts here:
1. Controller players are not trash, they're putting effort learning all the mechanics involved on a FPS, specially on a BR, they need to have some credit too.
2. Controller Aim Assist actually locks softly on enemies and autotracks with 0ms response (because is in its code: pc_magnet, ads_pull= 0.4 PC, 0.6 console. (Thats 40% and 60% respectively, the rest of the job needs to be done by the user)
3. Every FPS needs 3 basic skills: Aiming (primary) movement and Game Sense.
4.M/K has so many advantages against controller, but those advantages are not free, you need to earn them with a lot a lot of practice, even if you are talented.
Ok, now we can argue.
I don't agree with aim assist being a thing at competitive levels (pubs and casual events are fine) not because i think aim assist transform bad players into gods, its because there're really good players with controllers and aim assist will give them a huge advantage over similar skilled players, on any competitive sport any advantage counts, at top tier levels even the small amount of advantage 1% to 4% won olimpic medals.
And with aim assist we're not talking about 1 to 4%, that's 40% to 60% of help at the most basic skill on any FPS, aim assist is supposed to be a feature to new players and bad players not for PROs.
Every player should be competing with the same rules, and with some players having any kind of assistance that others don't have that rule is broken.
But being realistic, respawn don't want its game being a full competitive Esport, Respawn wants a fully inclusive game where everyone no matter if they're playing with their feets can enjoy the game; even at competitive levels, they're only pushing the tournaments because it's a great show and it's good publicity, and will keep their player base playing and spending money on it.https://www.washingtonpost.com/video-games/esports/2020/10/16/aim-assist-debate/?arc404=true
Read that article about aim assist, it's pretty damn good

"1. Controller players are not trash, they're putting effort learning all the mechanics involved on a FPS, specially on a BR, they need to have some credit too."
No one said this. But when you turn the Aim assist too high, it removes the skill gap from the good ones and the bad ones as they are being helped by the code more than their own play.
In ranked play, it is not acceptable, because it gives you an advantage over pc players who earn their aim through practice at any level. And believe it or not it will be more noticeable at the lower levels where the tuning of the aim assist is helping the most.

@audiofilomxkinda prooving how bad even pred controllerplayers are ๐
To his defence he didnt really practise without it... especially that the slowing down is missing made him overaiming alot
But why should you practice proper aiming when you can just rely on aimbot
- 5 years ago@audiofilomx Sorry, but I take everything with a grain of salt. They are playing on PC, I do not know if they have any sort of script with recoil mods or whatever running, this is "allowed" by EA too.
I play on a console, where jailbreaking it would be pretty risky for me and I don't have the money for a new one.
That said, look at my footage recently, there is no aim assist when the rampart moves. How can you argue that? Someone said "Oh ItS yOuR sEtTiNgS" well no, its aim assist, it works regardless of any controller setup.
While I only play on console and for fun, never did any tournys, the question not one of you mnk players have been able to answer for me is - If aim assist with a controller is so great, why not use a controller?
I do not understand why nobody answered this for me. Clearly using a controller is so much easier and better cause of aim assist, at least thats what you all keep arguing. - 5 years ago@SolitaryMassacre I came from console and i was very good with controller, but i never felt good about myself because since destiny 1 i knew that aim assist was a thing, and i wanted my aim to be good only because of me, not because some built it software is aiming for me, i could have switch to PC and kept using controller on apex, and probably i could have reached pred since season 2, but AA it's like learning to ride a bike with training wheels and you never take them off because you can't ride it without them, where is the fun on that?
And why should i throw 2 years of m/k learning only because everyone is using controller on PC just to get advantage, i have principles.
