Finally got the new update and barely managed to get into top 5 with randoms and went into this 'elite' lobby with much enthusiasm and do you know what my first match was like? A level SEVEN joins with Gibraltar no less anchors afk after dropping only to die immediately and spam his banner before leaving,a thanks to the faster ring myself and the remaining teammate were half dead before making it out only to be gang * by a much more competent squad.My second game wasn't any different either,got paired with two campers who sounded no older than 7 or 8, they landed in swamps and I had to hide in a corner for a good 10 minutes before they finally showed up, and even after that they preferred to stay passive and loot every good piece of equipment including a mastiff leaving me with lv1 armour and a damn Alternator and when again we got deleted by a more competent squad before getting a SINGLE kill I had more damage with a toy gun than the bot who swiped a * MASTIFF!PLEASE put a LEVEL REQUIREMENT for anyone who wants to enter this so called 'elite' lobby because getting carried through a match should NOT mean you're good enough to enter it

Elite Queue is something new. We and the Devs are just getting a first taste of it, what it is and what it needs to be. With our feedback help it can be improved, but we cannot expect it to be perfect since the first moment - that is not how software development works.

If you put a level requirement in, how are the lvl10, 500 kills, 4k bomb badge owning aimbotters ever going to get into elite games?!?On a serious note, I completely agree; if you haven't reached lvl 100 you shouldn't be eligible for the elite queue.Not because it's any guarantee of skill, but because it'd dramatically reduce the number of cheats.

I just wish the sound level across the map was a little less from zone to zone. I can hear gunshots from swamps to air base and I feel like that is a little unreasonable. Then the third party team that runs from swamps to air base to fight is now shooting a half equipped team with reduced resources. Also another possibly is maybe adding a damage reduction buff temporarily right after you wipe an entire team for like 10 seconds. Enough to get away from the other party and possibly heal a little bit before battling again. Fix the peacekeeper( I say this cause I use it as well cause its pretty easy and OP). An non-legendary gun should not be able to one shot a fully health/purple armored player regardless. That or remove the million and one hop ups that are dropped everywhere in elite and make them all legendary.

You mean like giving lv 0-10, 10-25, 25-50, 50-75, 75-100.
Each their own Elite queue.
I would like that if the player count is high why not???
But if the player count is low People would still get mixed.

Elite Squad should be a level 100+ / top 3 achieved last match or level 100+ / 5 or more kills in the last game to enter. Either one of those requirements met should make you eligible to enter... even then I believe the ceiling is really low but hey at least everyone will have a chance to enter once in a while

Totally agree with you.
TOP5 rank queue is totally pointless, because you still got a totally noobies against you or even worse, WITH YOU.
Elite queue should be maximum TOP3 or only the champs. or TOP3 and lvl combo.
I personally like agressive gamestyle, my mojo is to loot from the taken down opponents, not running all around the map 17mins and searching purple armour and then die with 3 seconds.
But what happened now? noobs want so badly to be TOP5 that you * run all over the map and searching enemies to kill, but you only find those little * campers.

What are you guys talking about? Isn't it fun to run around doing nothing for basically 10 minutes and seeing that only 10 squads have been eliminated whereas pre-event that can happen in like 3-5 minutes. Sometimes you're even surprised that your teammate or legend says "10 squads remaining" whereas now when looking (in both queues applicable) you see nothing in the kill feed for tens of seconds... early game...
Then when you finally see someone or a team, you can basically mindread your teammates who're saying "DONT ENGAGE I WANT TOP 5" because they're also camping while you target the enemies....
What fun is it to play with such noobs that they have to camp to get to top 5 isn't it? :P

@Koochi-Q oh it's a absolute joy ride of happy emotions and rainbows when you're fully kitted for war but your smart, wise, god tier teammates don't let you foolishly engage anyone until it's the last enemy alive lol. And if you do foolishly get downed because you were too dumb to be as far away from all activities as your intellectually superior teammates then they're gonna completely ignore you because what better way to teach you a valuable life lesson than to sit idly while you make a fool of yourself trying to actively participate in the game instead of not do anything and hope the ring kills everyone else. Truly a pleasure playing this new game mode with such master crafted human specimens all working in unison regardless of age, religion or sexual orientation in order to achieve a common goal which it to unlock limited time skins that we may never use, remarkable!

I don't get the OP. In the replies he complains about people camping but in their original post they talk about hiding in a corner while the teammates caught up and continued to loot. Then complains about them getting a mastif? Don't hide in a corner and go to your teammates maybe?
As for the people complaining about 3rd partying it's a tactic and a damn good one. I've won plenty of games that way and I'm not ashamed at all. It's part of the game and it happens on all battle royal style games.
