Why can't you duplicate the modes, Duos and Trios, but have an automated Code of Conduct? For example, if the player is inactive, standing still doing nothing for 5 minutes or more, they are kicked out and can't rejoin for 15 minutes. If they go too far away from their teammates they get a 'leaving game area' style message. This shouldn't be an issue if the player actively selected the suggested mode. Also, only players who were serious about playing as a team would join for fear of not being able to play for awhile. I'm tired of playing ten or more matches with players who don't care if their teammates are with them or not, leave prematurely, or stand still for 15 minutes eventually getting killed by the boundary moving. I will leave for another game and take my money with me if something isn't done soon. I can't take another morning of the same things happening over and over again.

You're wrong. Everyone gets a chance to be jumpmaster and should respect that person's decision as to where to land. Live as a team or die as a team. Plus it would be a separate Code of Conduct server in addition to the current Duos and Trios. I play multiplayer games to win as a team, whereas I suspect you play them to just get kills. Clever players tool up first and let other teams kill each other off before stepping in and mopping up. I suspect you take the US Army approach of landing in the busiest area possible and try desperately to blow everything up before dying as a splat on the floor.

Hrmm a much simpler solution would be to find some gaming friends to play premade squad...Then everyone can play according to their own preferred "codes of conduct".

It happens quite a bit for me. Just today it happened a few times. People are always rage quitting right off the bat or looting before they get teammates back up cause they are more worried about snagging all the loot first while your helpless. This guys idea is pretty much the only solution and it is Respawns obligation to make a well rounded gaming experience for all. They could implement this strategy so easily but just don't give two poops. They already have a punishment system, and already coded it into the game to have the players comment when other players are too far apart. It shouldn't be difficult to just switch the worthless comment to a penalty. This is a team game and anyone who isn't willing to play as a team shouldn't be playing this game period. I really don't care if you people think this narrows your play style cause if you want to land other places or not be by your team then your play style is selfish. Its a team game plain and simple and any comment trying to advocate the opposite should get you perma banned from all online games from here on till the end of time. I'm actually flabbergasted that people would actually say they don't want to be forced to play a style of play that is referred to as TEAM WORK. What play style do you want to use that requires you to not use TEAM WORK in a TEAM GAME?

@Sylvester9991 I completely agree with you. There are players who don't have any skills, but they think that when they land in "High tier loot zones" - will find - gold or purple armour + good guns and they will kill everyone but.... in 90% of the rounds - die in the first 10 seconds after landing+ most players do not know when to jump and always several squads lands before them and loot everything.

A good suggestion, but I work and don't always have the same schedule as my friends. Plus Apex isn't to everyone's taste.

I dont mean friend friends... I just mean gaming friends. Try an open Apex discord channel. They usually got drop-in room and you will have a network of other people you play well with in no time. I have literally 1 IRL friend who plays this game (as far as I know) but like 80 on my Origin list that I play with.
ps, I just left a game because my random dropped exactly on the door I marked, even though he marked another building earlier..... Thats my code of conduct.. You dont drop at the same door; nothing is as triggering as that.. Same building if its a hot zone, sure but not the same door because then we will run next to each other, one ninja looting up all the ammo and the other the weapons and both will die =) What I mean is that everyone has different preferred codes of conduct and premades is the solution to it.

@UKG_Midnight Yes something needs to be done about it, but the ideas you suggest would do more harm than good. I for one HATE games which force you to play a certain style. Forcing this particular type of teamwork would just enforce more banner camping from the enemy squads and players would start to camp a lot more as a squad in houses. The game would change from a casual type of playlist into some sort of aids-filled campfest. This particular reason is why I gave up on the call of duty series altogether. I do not wish for apex to be like other games. What sylvester suggested above are valid reasons for the ideas you have mentioned to not be implemented. In a perfect world your ideas would be beneficial and benefit the game greatly, but as everyone has a life and are forced to go afk at times (emergency etc) it just wouldn't be ideal. Playing games to get kills and wins isn't always the case in every game, for example me being rank 500 paired with a level 1, and let me tell you no matter how many times I revive this mf he will keep on going down over and over and over again. Yes teamwork is involved, but you can only do so much, especially when both teammates are a liability. Also another thing that bugs me on this game is reaction time, yes everyone has their own reaction to everything but if 3-4 squads are pushing the same building and you have a limited amount of time to rotate to a different location to get the upper hand; if these teammates are slow as hell or the radius idea is implemented then you will just end up dying and getting frustrated over the game.

The logical solution would be to implement a 15 minute waiting time every time somebody leaves before their banner times out, just like ranked; except this waiting period would be permanently fixed at 15 minutes. It is casual after all.

Your frustration is relatable but your solution is unworkable. I haven't had a teammate stand there because they are AFK except a couple of times, so it's not a widespread problem. As for a penalty for separating from the rest of your team, that's gonna be a hard no. Sometimes you get stuck with stupid teammates, or teammates who don't grasp the "dibs" concept, or who loot instead of revive/respawn, or worse sit up somewhere and try to snipe while the dirty work is done, then come in and loot. Sometimes on landing the jump master flies like an idiot and 4 or 5 teams will have landed in the spot ahead of you, meaning all of the weapons will already be taken. In some cases you have to break off, and join up later.

We listened to your opinion and even though we may not have agreed with it we weren't disrespectful about it. @Luxxtenebri is entitled to his opinion as much as you are. We all value Apex enough to care that it plays well and we share that in common. Our ideas just differ from yours. Show a little maturity and respect please.
