Shotguns are inconsistent. think about how they function irl, its just a bunch of pellets...
Shotguns also do a heck of a lot more damage at a further distance IRL, and fairly consistently might I add. Unlike the shotguns in game. Still prefer one over the Alternator, I'd rather try to punch a Titan to death than use one of them.
