Footsteps

Was taking cover to reload (was immobile to better hear ppl approaching), a caustic WALKS up behind me and starts shooting at me (and semi-missing) with his peacekeeper. I didn't hear a SINGLE footstep! The first sound I heard was his PK shot. WTF is wrong with the game. Dice are able to at least have footsteps working in bf5 (sometimes TOO well where you hear ppl from so far) and this game can't even have a proper sound system that actually works. Devs acknoledged the sound issue pretty much near release but 2 months in and patches have yet to improve anything (beside maybe a tiny improvement to hitboxes but it's still not enough for caustic and gib and overall legend balance). This is a complete mofo-ing joke.
