Dear EA, please consider changing the Diamond+ solo queue restriction to Master+ only, or at least Diamond 1+.
Diamond is not truly the top competitive bracket anymore; many players reach Diamond mainly to continue playing ranked with friends. Blocking premades from all of Diamond removes one of the biggest reasons people still grind ranked: improving and pushing together as a duo or trio.
I understand the goal of protecting competitive integrity in high-level lobbies, but applying it from Diamond IV is too broad. Master/Pred, or maybe Diamond I and above, would target the actual high-end ranked environment without punishing regular Diamond players who simply want to play with friends.
Dude what competitive integrity are you seeing being protected? Preds get Pred teammates with or without the test -> get matched with soloq low Diamonds paired with even as low as Plat 4 players who usually come in a duo from Plat lobbies... how is that integrity or competition?
All they are doing is protecting Imperialhal's twich income and fragile ego as poor million dollar boy can't grind vs other Preds all day, it is too taxing. => CS players look at him showing that they have been on a road for tournaments for past 160 days barely having any breaks and time at home.
Hope stats show that this freaking test just made most diamond players quit the game/create multiple smurfs to just grind <diamond4 lobbies.
