I hope the idea of a Paid version of Apex is being considered, while I'll agree it might not stop the cheaters 100%, it's always been my understanding in the gaming industry it puts a huge dent in it, typically where most cheaters stay on playing free versions of games.
If it can make a big difference, then great!
That´s *, why making great free to play game to be paid and loose so many players interested in it? I would never again pay for a * game like I did for BFV
You misunderstood the title says both; Free & Paid, meaning there will be 2 versions for people to choose between. đ

A paid model like cs: go, in which there is the f2p and p2p version.
And who you think would go for paid version over free? That´s just nonsence to me, I would like to rather take steps to the game to be more protected and more efficient for reporting hackers, my only problem in the game is that Origin ingame doesn´t work for me and the matchmaking is messed up. And yeah I didn´t read the title, I was focused on the paid verison of the game, which I don´t think it will help with hackers, if they want to hack they still can buy it
From what I understand for the F2P on CS:GO is the game but only vs bots, then you have to buy the paid version of the game to play with players, I once read it on Steam, cause I was feeling same, but I got it for few bucks so I don´t mind it.

Should be placed on the Origins ' Basic ' plan.(other good titles are already on it.)
I don't think making the game Pay to play is the way to go.
The anti-cheat should slowly take the upper hand and detect cheaters faster.
Cheating will always exist in game's and the only way to fight back is to report that user.
I also never meant that by creating a Paid Version that the Anti Cheat in the Free version was going to suffer.
But the reality is that the game is software, software has bugs and as long as people make mistakes in code, people can hack it.
So in this day and age, cheating will not be stopped 100%.
The idea of the Paid version, is that even with whatever remains of cheating in a free version, hopefully these people will not want to pay, that's all...
Oh and if I have to also say this, YES, having a Paid server isn't going to also wipe out the problem, but doing the best with the Anti Cheat, and then adding in a Paid Version, is just one more layer to hopefully deter the cheaters... đ
